Prometheus Award

The Prometheus Award was created in 1979
by science fiction writer L. Neil Smith to honor the
best libertarian fiction novel each year. The award
was taken over in 1982 by the Libertarian Futurist
Society. The award is a one ounce gold coin,
representing free trade and free minds, mounted on
an engraved plaque. NOTE: No winner was named in
1980, 1981 or 1985. |
